NEW SINGLE OUT NOW - Stop You Coming And Come

Bearing witness to the accelerating negativity of global affairs, Steel Pulse emerges with musical vengeance to halt the disarray of humanity. The forthcoming album, Mass Manipulation, set for early 2019 release (Rootfire Cooperative / Wiseman Doctrine), reflects four decades of bettering mankind through music. The debut single “Stop You Coming And Come” features ancient melodies paired with catchy lyrics, transporting the mind to a period of time where secrets of an African dynasty are unmasked. As reggae revolutionaries, Steel Pulse is revered by the younger generation of artists and remains a powerhouse on stages around the globe. Through the example of Mass Manipulation, Steel Pulse demonstrates the endless possibilities that come from breaking down the walls of systemic greed, and nurturing the fellowship of mankind.

REGGAE “SHAMAN” DAVID HINDS AND THE LEGENDARY STEEL PULSE SHINE LIGHT ON REGGAE’S FUTURE

Marking the 40th anniversary of their debut album, Steel Pulse has never wavered in a career long commitment to better mankind through reggae music. This summer’s expansive, co-headlining tour with Ziggy Marley, has truly served to excite, elevate, and entertain fans of both bands. The tour has featured songs with pertinent messages of social concern, hope and unifying calls for action.

David Hinds’ silky lead vocals, lyrical mastery and mesmerizing performances were “force majeure” nightly. As a collective, Steel Pulse’s musicianship feature the wizardry of Selwyn Brown and Sidney Mills on keyboards/vocals, the dynamic horns duo of Jerry Johnson and Stephen Bradley, David Elecciri on lead guitar/vocals along with Pulse stalwarts, drummer Wayne Clarke and bassist Amlak Tafari. These veteran musicians performed classic Steel Pulse anthems like “Steppin’ Out,” “Rally Round,” “Drug Squad,” “Roller Skates,” along with the The Grateful Dead's “Franklin’s Tower”, in stunning improvisational jams, not customarily seen in live reggae music today. A must see event, the band will be performing at the Belly Up, in Aspen, Colorado (October 11th) and the Fillmore Auditorium, in Denver, Colorado (October 13th).

David Hinds’ Forthcoming Steel Pulse Album Mass Manipulation and Rootfire Partnership:

Excitement abounds with news of David Hinds’ forthcoming Steel Pulse studio album, Mass Manipulation.  The announcement also marks a new partnership with Rootfire Cooperative. Rootfire is the only independent record label that affords the artist 100% of revenue and ownership from their music through the entire production and marketing process. Hinds promises the new album will take the listener on a journey through our past, while navigating the political transformation of the present and deliver a vision of a “New Nation” that could be, now and into the future.

Reggae’s future shines brightly for music fans worldwide!
